About Pandit S.N. Shukla University

Pandit Shambhunath Shukla University (PSNSU), established in 2015 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature (operational from 2016), is a state university serving the Shahdol division of Madhya Pradesh. PSNSU serves Shahdol, Umaria and Anuppur districts — a tribal-majority region of eastern MP.

PSNSU has 10 teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education and Tribal Studies. The university affiliates over 50 UG colleges across the Shahdol division. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f) and 12(B).
