About The LNM Institute of Information Technology

LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT), established in 2003 as a joint initiative of the Government of Rajasthan and the Lakshmi Niwas Mittal Family Foundation, and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2006 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at Sumel Sarai, Jaipur (close to NH-8). LNMIIT is named after Lakshmi Niwas Mittal — the founder of ArcelorMittal steel conglomerate and a global Indian industrialist.

LNMIIT has 6 departments — Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical-Mechatronics Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Humanities. Offers B.Tech, Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech, M.Tech and PhD programmes. NAAC A grade accredited; consistently ranked among top private engineering institutes in NIRF.
