About Uttarakhand Technical University

Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), established in 2008 by the UTU Act of the Uttarakhand state legislature, is the state technological university of Uttarakhand. Headquartered at Suddhowala, Dehradun, UTU is an affiliating-and-examining technological university for all engineering, technology, pharmacy, architecture and management colleges in Uttarakhand (excluding GBPUAT engineering).

UTU affiliates 100+ engineering and pharmacy/management colleges across Uttarakhand. Recognised by AICTE/COA/PCI. The university administers state-wide common syllabus for engineering and conducts examinations.
